Getting Here
Coxsackie, New York, is located on the west side of the Hudson River in Greene County. 140 miles north of New York City, 35 miles south of Albany and 150 miles west of Boston. Right off exit 21b of the New York State Thruway (I-87).
The Nicest Little Ferry
The Hudson Ferry Co. is a cross-river ferry that connects communities in the Hudson, NY area. We offer regularly scheduled ferry service from Hudson to Athens, thematic sightseeing tours, and private charters.
Their flagship vessel is the M/V Haendel, a 45’ steel-hulled boat constructed by the Army Corp of Engineers in 1965. They also provide service on the Schooner Apollonia, a 64’ carbon-neutral sailboat.
